The food which we eat is absolutely fundamental to our health and wellbeing. It affects how our body functions, grows and repairs itself - you are what you eat!

Or are you? Actually, that well-known phrase is only partially correct. Any two people can eat exactly the same foods but they may digest, absorb, process and use those foods in quite different ways, with quite different effects on their health. In addition, much of the food we eat has been intensively farmed, highly processed or stored for long periods of time, all of which can reduce its nutritional value.

Over time, we may find ourselves developing troublesome symptoms which reflect how hard it can be to eat the right balanced diet for each individual.

These symptoms, which may be involved in many medical conditions, can include:

  • Hormonal imbalances, possibly leading to PMS or menopause symptoms
  • Lack of energy or concentration
  • Fluctuating weight
  • Aches and pains
  • Digestive problems
  • Low immunity or allergic conditions like eczema or asthma
  • Inability to deal with daily stresses

Nutritional Therapy involves personalised nutrition and lifestyle advice for clients who want to make the most of tasty, affordable food to overcome specific health concerns, or to just feel better every day.
