Emotion Freedom Techniques (EFT)

EFT, or Tapping as it is sometimes called, is a powerful tool for resolving emotional and physical problems gently and effectively.

It is based on impressive new discoveries regarding the body’s subtle energy system and its connection with our emotions and health. It has been proven clinically effective in many thousands of cases for a very wide variety of emotional, physical and psychological issues, and it often works when nothing else will. It is often said that it is like an emotional or psychological form of acupuncture without needles.

It involves tapping on a sequence of meridian points with the fingertips while talking and focusing on particular aspects of the issue to be resolved. The tapping balances the body’s energy system, releasing blockages which are linked to negative emotions or discomfort, and the roots of dis-ease within the body.
