Clinical Psychology

In the field of psychology known as clinical psychology, mental problems are evaluated, diagnosed, and treated. Clinical psychology treats a range of mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, manic depression, bipolar disorder, and depression. Clinical psychologists also deal with less serious issues including shyness and anxieties, as well as marital issues. Working one-on-one with patients, providing counselling to individuals, families, or other groups of people, is possible for clinical psychologists. Clinical psychology candidates may also work in research, evaluating various treatments and medications.
